The main star for this is what we call as the FREE veggies, or also known as the non-starchy veggies. This particular type, by the name itself, is really free. You can eat as much as you want, as long as you want, and how you want it. These contain absolutely zero calories and contain loads and loads of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and phytochemicals that combat certain diseases and some cancers. This group includes those dark green vegetables like celery, lettuce, cabbage; the orange vegetables like squash, pumpkin and sweet potatoes; dry beans and peas like garbanzo beans, string beans, chickpeas; and among others. These vegetables are very high in fiber which is also good to clean out and detoxify the body. So if you love lettuce, go ahead! You can eat it three times, five, even twenty times a day, without worrying of getting extra pounds. Just make sure you eat it by itself, or use a non-fat dressing, if you want. So load it up with those veggies, and see a difference in just a few days!

            Vegetables are indeed for you and for everyone who desires to lose weight. It is actually filled with vitamins, minerals, fiber, anti-oxidants, and other substances that promote total well being and good health. And as a matter fact, going vegan is a very effective way to lose weight fast! Vegetables should be a major part of any healthy diet to lose weight.                 Now, of course, not everyone can really turn into vegetarians, or can really go straight vegan, but what you could do is you can increase your vegetable intake. You can go ahead and incorporate your regular food with more vegetables, nuts and fruits. Not only will you make yourself healthy by loading it with rich vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants, but your body will naturally lose weight!
                You can actually start by trying to eat your regular food but you can add a veggie or two each time. And then try increasing it gradually, next thing you know, you are eating more veggies than you can ever recall. This is probably the best way to lose weight naturally. You can try dishes where you can modify by adding some vegetables to it, or you can also make a vegetable salad as a form of dessert. Then slowly add more and you can also experiment so you can come up with a very healthy dish.
                If you really have some difficulty purchasing fresh veggies, invest in a good salad spinner where you can just wash and dry your lettuce or cabbages and place it in your refrigerator. It will make your veggies fresher for longer periods of time. You can also opt to purchase canned vegetables which are also packed at its peak of freshness. Just don’t forget to wash it well in cold water to rid off some of the sodium.
